PS5、Switch、Xbox、VR

“Taking Them Out to Play” and “Playing With Them” Are Not Quite the Same
Parents are often busy with work, while children have their own routines with school and activities.
So when the weekend arrives, many parents naturally think:
“Let’s take the kids somewhere fun.”
But when you look a little deeper, there are actually many ways to spend time with children.
You can take them somewhere and sit nearby while they play.
Or you can put your phone down and join them.
Both are forms of spending time together, but the experience can feel very different.
Start With a Simple DIY Activity
Parent-child DIY is an easy way to start creating something together.
Take Perler beads, for example.
Children can choose the design, while Mum and Dad help pick out the colors.
One bead, two beads, three beads…
Everyone gathers around the same table and slowly brings the creation to life.
Along the way, little conversations naturally happen:
“Do you think this color looks good?”
“I want to make this one.”
“You put that bead in the wrong place.”
“That’s okay. Let’s try again.”
What starts as a simple craft can gradually become a little project that the whole family completes together.
Games Can Become Family Activities Too
Many parents assume that the game area is mainly for children to play on their own.
But it doesn’t have to be.
PS5, Nintendo Switch, Xbox and VR can all become part of family interaction.
Dad can challenge the kids to a game.
Mum can try the game the children usually enjoy.
And even if the adults have no idea how to play, there’s nothing wrong with losing the first round.
Sometimes, letting the children teach Mum and Dad how to play can make them feel surprisingly proud.
When the roles are reversed, family interaction can become even more fun.
Kids Don’t Always Need You to Help Them Win
Parents naturally want to help their children.
But sometimes, what children enjoy most is realizing that they can do it themselves.
So playing together doesn’t necessarily mean completing things for them.
You can simply sit beside them.
Let them try on their own.
Laugh together when they lose.
And when they finally complete their creation or pass a difficult level, simply say:
“Wow, you did that all by yourself!”
For children, this kind of small encouragement can mean a lot.
Family Time Doesn’t Have to Be a Big Production
Sometimes parents feel that quality family time requires a trip, a hotel booking or a carefully planned schedule packed with activities.
But it doesn’t have to.
Making something together.
Playing one game together.
Sharing some fruit or a drink.
Or simply sitting down together after everyone gets tired.
These can all become meaningful moments of shared family time.
At AQILA Hot Spring Life, DIY, games, dining and relaxation spaces are all available in one place, giving families more ways to shape their day around what they actually want to do.
From Watching Nearby to Truly Taking Part
When parents move from simply watching to actually joining in, children can feel the difference too.
They know that Mum and Dad didn’t just bring them somewhere to have fun.
They were willing to try, play and experience it together.
It doesn’t require a long lecture or a carefully planned activity.
One game, one DIY project, or one shared moment of completing something together can already be enough.
So what makes a family outing memorable may not be how many places you visited that day.
It may simply be whether you truly stepped into your child’s world.
At AQILA Hot Spring Life, families can choose the activities they enjoy individually, while also having plenty of opportunities to join in together.
Sometimes, the difference between “taking your child out to play” and “playing together with your child” is just one small change—but it can make the entire weekend feel completely different.
